The General and Laparoscopic Surgery Department is equipped with the latest technology and infrastructure, supported by an experienced team of surgeons conducting Advanced Laparoscopic surgeries. The team performs Hepato pancreatico and biliary surgery including liver transplant, Gastro-intestinal to treat cancer and other Emergency Abdominal Surgeries including trauma.

The procedures are performed with the help of tiny incisions. This ensures that patients have less post-operative pain, spend a shorter time in the hospital and recover significantly faster than after an open surgery.

The first Liver Transplant was carried out in August 2017 and the team was applauded from across the state for its success.

The department is a High volume centre for advanced laparoscopic procedures and various other complex procedures with results comparable to any of the renound centers in the world.
